Doc: Tell us about your latest book, Greedy Bones.

CH: A lot of readers wanted to see Sarah Booth back in Mississippi after her film adventures. In Greedy Bones, Sarah Booth confronts what may be a plague that could destroy her beloved Sunflower County. Oscar Richmond, her partner’s husband, is dying, as are several other people. Sarah Booth has to uncover the source of the illness–and who is behind it.

CA.TV: And what about your upcoming book, Bone Apetite?

CH: Bone Appetit is a bit more light-hearted. It centers around a cooking school/beauty pageant and a series of murders as the contestants drop like flies. Sarah Booth and Tinkie are in Greenwood, Mississippi taking cooking lessons at the famous Viking Cooking School when they’re drawn into the case. This book will be released July 2010.
