Join sketchers all over the world on Saturday, February 27, as we record what we see in our communities, then share our drawings on the internet. For our second local SketchCrawl (the 26th international Crawl), we’re moving from downtown to West Mobile, gathering at the Mobile Museum of Art (4850 Museum Dr.) at 10 AM, sketching in and around it until 3 PM, then coming together again to sip coffee and share the results. We’ll upload the drawings for others to see – and in March, exhibit a selection at Mobile Arts Council.

Artists of all ages and all skill levels are invited to participate, and you are welcome to join us at any time before 2 PM, as your schedule permits. Just check in at our desk in the Education Wing – and receive free admission to the Museum. We will be permitted to sketch with pencil or pen (not paints) in the Museum galleries. If you do draw there, please be careful and be mindful of patrons viewing the exhibitions.
