When a struggling contemporary art gallery can’t pay the rent, owner Marian, aided by the ghost of her dead business partner, Mark, concocts a scheme to pass a local soccer mom’s sculptures off as the work of an illiterate outsider artist from Dead Mule, Mississippi. The local art critic is taken in…but how long can the deception last? Artbruted is a witty and thoughtful examination of art’s real and perceived value.
Artbruted is directed by Dr. Ivan H. Davidson. Cast includes Tracie Collier, Cannon Tucker, Kerri Chimento, Danielle Juzan, and Michael Green.
