Point Clear’s Watt Key will be releasing his second novel Dirt Road Home on July 20.
“After his recapture at the end of Alabama Moon, 14-year-old Hal Mitchell is sentenced to live at Hellenweiler boys’ home. Hal could walk out in just a few months if he keeps out of trouble. But the more he tries to avoid the gangs and their violence, the stronger Hal’s fellow inmates try to make him fail.”
Alabama Moon has sold over 100,000 copies in North America and is now a major motion picture starring Clint Howard and John Goodman (that has yet to screen in Mobile we unfortunately have to add – despite this petition).
Mr. Key will be at Page & Palette 6pm July 22 and Holiday on Old Shell Road July 28.
