Across the Greek Landscape : Art contest sponsored by Greek fest 2010

Submit your artwork portraying your ideas of the Greek
landscape. All winning artwork will be displayed during Greek
Fest on November 4, 5, 6, 2010. Top two winners will be chosen
from four age groups: 6-10, 11-15, 16-18, & adult.

Prizes? $50 & winning artwork displayed at Greek Fest.
One overall winner ($100) will be selected for the cover of the
Greek Fest insert in the Press Register. The overall winner’s
school /organization will also receive $100 prize.
Prizes will be awarded at Greek fest on Saturday, November 5th
at 5pm under the big tent!

Complete an entry form and submit your artwork in person to:

Greek Orthodox Church, 50 South Ann Street or
Top Music, at 3656 Government (at Lakeshore Drive)

Entry Deadline: October 8th 2010. Winner will be notified by
October 15th, 2010

Contest Rules

All entries must be original, created by the person entering the contest.
Artwork must be complete. One entry per person.
All artwork should have a Greek theme, in keeping with the title of the contest, “Across the Greek Landscape”.
Paper should be no smaller than 8.5” x 11” and no larger than 11” x 17”. Artwork should be submitted flat, and should not be folded, matted, or framed.
Entry forms must be completely filled out, and taped to the back of the artwork. Artwork submitted without the entry form will not be eligible for judging.
Entries must be submitted in person to: the Greek Orthodox Church at 50 South Ann Street (8am – 12pm) or Top Music, at 3656 Government ( at Lakeshore Drive).
All entries must be received by October 8th, 2010. Winners will be notified by October 15th, 2010.
Winning artwork is non-returnable and becomes the property of the Greek Orthodox Church.
Prizes are $50 to the top two in each category. One overall winner and the school or organization will both receive $100. Two “honorable mention” artwork pieces from each category will also be displayed alongside the winner’s artwork.
