Mobile’s BayFest Music Festival is two weeks away, but the fun kicks off Saturday, September 25 with a 5k run through downtown. All proceeds from the race benefit the BayFest Music Industry Education Program and the scholarship program. The scholarship program offers students a way to receive a portion of $10,000 to continue their music education. This year, the high school with the most participants will earn $1,000.
