This week the most notable DVD/Blu-ray release is The Social Network, you know the facebook movie.
You do know what Facebook is, right? That webpage you use to stalk your ex, keep tabs
on your high school tormentors, and call out the occasional person
who has done you wrong. Well there is a movie all about how the
site began. So run out and pick up The Social Network or as many of
our more rural friends will be sure to call it That Facebook movie.
This week also has a DVD release that should peek local interest.
PBS Frontline: The Spill DVD is a look at the largest environmental
disaster to impact the United States and it just so happens to have
occurred right in our own back yard, The Gulf of Mexico. The
Original PBS Air Date of this expose on BP was October 26, 2010 The
show is also available online at
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/the-spill/ for you to view
free of charge.
Once you have poked into The Social Network,
slugged your way through the tar filled gulf waters and have some
time to kill between status updates and tweets here are a few other
releases to keep an eye out for this week.
Dances With Wolves 20th Anniversary DVD/Blu-ray
Raging Bull 30th Anniversary Blu-ray
Piranha (2010) DVD/Blu-ray 3D Blu-ray version also available for you early 3D adopters

I liked The Social Network, but I haven’t seen The Spill yet. Of the other movies you listed, which is your favorite?
