SouthSounds Preview: Some Dark Holler (Birmingham)

Some Dark Holler is former Back Row Baptists’ bandleader Chris Porter and singer and fiddler-extraordinaire Helen Gassenheimer. Their eponymous debut EPCD was released in 2011 on This Is American Music.

 

Some Dark Holler recently won the 2012 South-by-Southwest Musical Competition in Texas and also won a very prestigious award at Couch-by-Couchwest 2012.
