May 8-10 Purple Hatter’s Ball will return to Live Oak, Fla. with a slew of passionate musicians. The charity event for Rachel Morningstar Hoffman is a bargain at only $135 including camping. The Thursday preparty can be added for an additional $45. Purple Hatter’s Ball takes place at Suwannee Music Park, and beautiful campground home to multiple festivals per year.

The 2015 lineup will feature the likes of Lotus, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Toubab Krewe, DubConscious, Tauk, Catfish Alliance, and many more talented acts. Located a little over 4 hours from downtown Mobile, Live Oak hosts some of the closest festivals to the Gulf Coast area year round. The Mod Crew was fortunate enough to interview PHB 2015 artist Elephant Revival at Harvest Festival 2013 in the video below.

The Mod Crew has also been on site at the past 2 years of PHB, with numerous interviews and photos to document the event. The crew will return to document the 2015 event, with interviews with Tauk, Toubab Krewe, and more. Also of note is the appearance of visual artists Alex and Allyson Grey at this year’s festival. Below is unreleased exclusive video footage of DubConscious performing liveĀ in 2013.
