New Orleans act Flow Tribe will be appearing at Callaghan’s Irish Social Club on August 7. With doors at 7:30 p.m. and a low cover charge of $10, those who have not yet experienced the pub owe it to themselves to discover the Mobile music scene. The band talked to the Mod Crew about the upcoming performance.
“This will be our first time at Callaghan’s, looking forward to it,” the Flow Tribe members stated.
For those unfamiliar with the band, they possess a potent mixture of musical inspirations. Just like a great NOLA gumbo, there is a little bit of everything from funk to rock to Latin grooves. The band references influences from James Brown to G. Love and Special Sauce.
“Anything that has a solid groove and gets you going. Audiences can expect to leave thoroughly entertained and satisfied,” Flow Tribe said.
Those looking for a great destination for Friday night should consider supporting an excellent local business and a great regional act at the same time. Concerts like Flow Tribe are just one of the many great events brought to Mobile thanks to Callaghan’s, and both the band and the venue contribute to the richness of the area music scene.
“We love representing New Orleans and the gulf coast in general wherever we go. Our unique and inclusive culture lets us bring our backbone cracking music all across America and beyond,” the band emphasized.
