Music lovers everywhere have been in a fervor about the recent lineup announcement for Bonnaroo 2017. Standard tickets for the festival began sales January 11; those who were super early birds managed to snag some discount tickets in time for Christmas before the lineup was announced. The initial lineup announcement includes big name bands, such as U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper, Cage the Elephant, Lorde alongside favorites such as Cold War Kids, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Greensky Bluegrass, and many other notable musicians. Peep the full announced list below:

Adding even more gasoline to the fire, U2 has announced that during their sets at the farm they intend to perform The Joshua Tree in its entirety. Not to mention the Superjam will be back again and hosted by comedian and bluegrass musician Ed Helms. For those who did not make it to Bonnaroo 2016, the ever improving festival now has permanent bathrooms in parts of Centeroo, as well as increased shower facilities available in the campgrounds. 2017 promises to be one of the best years so far.

Tickets to the festival are currently $324.50 plus fees. Additionally, campers bringing a vehicle will need a car camping pass for an additional $59.75 plus fees, but thankfully fans can save money by carpooling to the event together. The tier 3 price will not last long, as tickets will increase to the tier 4 price of $349.50 once the current allotment of tickets are exhausted. The early bird not only gets the worm, but saves a few bucks in the process, especially during festival season.

Mod Mobilian will be interviewing musicians prior to the event to bring readers the inside scoop on the largest music festival in the Southeast, and one of the largest in the country. Bonnaroo is an experience, and those who attend once are likely to return to the farm at some point. The magic and music is contagious, and there are hardly any events with more stages, more high profile acts, and more late night activities than ‘Roo. Summer festival plans must be made wisely, and no matter the lineup Bonnaroo is always a solid choice because there will be music for every person’s taste.
